Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows, including the revival of Violet and also played lead roles in the Broadway performances of The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performance on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster was an Star Search contestant at the age of 15, and was a guest in Bunheads and Psych. Sutton Foster has been in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Sutton Foster has toured the United States and internationally in a duo with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" which was her debut solo disc, and her second album, "An evening With Sutton Foster Live at the Caf Carlyle". In 2011 she received an Honorary Doctorate degree in the form of an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she also is on faculty as a teacher and advisor to the Department of Theatre and Dance. From March to the present she has been a part of TVLand's new series "Younger" developed by Darren Star.
